Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born on August 9th, 1976 at Beaumont Puy in Domme. At a young age, her dental doctors parents and teacher mother supported Audrey's love of drama and theater. It was this love which trumped her original desire to become a the first primatologist. Her rise to fame as an actor in the young age was swift and marked by her early successes. When she finished her education, she participated in the French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers which was backed by Canal+. She won the award for the best young Actress award at Beziers Festival of Young Actors in the year 2000. She then began a acting career. Tautou studied at Institut Catholique de Paris, attended church in her youth and was raised Catholic. But she is now separating herself from the Catholic tradition. Neben her acting, Tautou pursued modelling and was the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. Alongside her acting career she also has an interest in photography. She recently exhibited some images at the Arles Film Festival under the title Superficial. Her work focuses on celebrity as well as fame.
